At The Royal Oak Inn, our bar areas are traditionally styled with beamed ceilings and an inviting open log fire.
We are a dog friendly pub and welcome you to bring your four legged friends into the bar area.
Free WiFi is available to all visitors.

We strive to provide the best experience for our valued customers. During quieter periods, we may close a little earlier on an evening if demand isn’t there.
DRINKS AT THE ROYAL OAK INN
We offer a wide range of both soft and alcoholic drinks to suit every taste. Our bar features four hand-pulled ales, including Greene King IPA, Timothy Taylor Landlord, a rotating guest ale, and Bass (all subject to change).
We are proud to be featured in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide and to have received top marks once again from Cask Marque in 2025 for the quality of our cask ales.
On our bar, you’ll also find Guinness, Moretti, and Cruzcampo, alongside ciders such as Inches and Old Mout Berries & Cherries.
Our extensive premium gin and rum collection is perfectly paired with the Fever-Tree range of tonics. We also offer a carefully curated selection of premium wines by the glass and champagne, ideal for any occasion.
CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA
The play area is open and the following rules MUST be observed by users:
- Children in the area are to be supervised at all times
- Consumption of food or drink in the playground area is banned.
- Please be considerate of other families’ needs and limit your children’s time in the play area so it can be shared with others
- Children using playground equipment do so at their parent or guardian’s own risk
