CUSTOMER NOTICE

Coronavirus

To encourage social distancing, over 50% of our tables and seating have been removed, so to avoid disappointment we recommend that you book a table for dining with us.  However you’re always welcome to ‘drop in’ and we’ll do our best to look after you safely, it just may be that you dine at a table in our bar area.

As we cannot allow customers to use the servery, our popular Carvery as it was has now been rebranded “Roasts from The Kitchen” and is delivered to your table.   This traditional menu option is available on Tuesday and Thursday (both days have an over 60’s concession) and on Sunday.

Our tables are now restricted to a maximum of 6 diners.

Whilst we’d love for you to dine with us inside, the current situation has encouraged us to ‘think outside the box’ and so we are now offering a takeaway collection service.

Please ensure that you have left the premises by 10pm as you’ll be well aware our Government has mandated that hospitality venues in England must be closed by that time.

THE FINEST INGREDIENTS

Our restaurants offer a large menu to suit most tastes as well as our weekly specials which can be seen below.  Special dietary requirements such as gluten free, vegan and vegetarian are catered for, please speak with a member of staff before you order your food.

In sourcing the finest local produce we aim to produce dishes freshly made in our kitchen with lots of variety to keep you coming back time after time.

Fine pub dining, real ales and a warm friendly atmosphere are all you need for your family get together, birthday celebration or a relaxing meal for two!

  • Docks Beers

Founded in 2013, Docks Beers is the son of Axholme Brewing Co and started brewing real ales in Crowle, North Lincolnshire.

After making hundreds of different beers in styles old and new, and honing their brewing skills in pursuit of ever better beer, in 2017 they decided it was time to build a craft beer brand. And after constructing the new brewery from the ground up in a Grimsby Church, one year later Docks Beers was born.

Docks Beers is brewed at a state of the art 15 barrel Grimsby brewery that’s known as the theatre of beer because the brewing area is in full view of the taproom. Visitors can watch the brewers hard at work making up to 20,000 pints a week and get a real idea of the work involved in brewing their high quality craft beers.

Located close to the town’s famous Docks, the brewing is inspired by the location and the hard work ethic of dockers past, present and future. Docks Beers are proud of these roots and take the same approach to brewing and always endeavour to put the graft in craft beer.

  • Bottomley Distillers

Bottomley Distillers are a family owned distillery with a heritage that dates back to the 1950’s with the original Mr Stansfield Bottomley, a small scale whisky producer who began in West Yorkshire before moving on to Lincolnshire in the early 1980’s.

His youngest son, Alan Bottomley, was always fascinated by the production of spirit and in 2016, inspired by this inherited skill and the rise in the craft market, he decided to modernise those nearly lost techniques. With the agreement of partner Amy and their daughter Molly, Lincolnshire’s oldest distillery was founded.

Set in the quaint market town of Louth in the Lincolnshire Wolds, producing their award winning brand, Pin Gin, along with white label projects, they have just started casking Mr Bottomleys’ original recipe – the only Lincolnshire Single Malt Whisky.
